Audio Transcription service

There are many projects a person can work on which require the use of music. Music can add so much to many different types of projects, from movies, to websites, to video games, and basically any other form of multimedia entertainment. Music is used to create moods: music can inspire, create tension, add a jovial feeling, spark romance, or any other of a large variety of things.

The Story of Abba

Fans of the standards haven't had much to look forward to in recent years, and this is especially true if they've been venturing out to Las Vegas in hopes of catching a classic crooner delivering a legitimate concert without the over-the-top bells and whistles. The truth: contemporary music is going the way of the dodo, but Barry might save the day. Barry Manilow is the top-selling contemporary artist of all time, with over 80 million albums sold to date.

Famous Motown Songs Build A Lasting Legacy

There are many different software options that will restore order to disorganized iTunes libraries. The first things to look out for is to make sure that whatever program you choose is an all-in-one tool that allows you to manage your music effectively. Most applications will allow you to find album art, rename songs, remove duplicates and fill out missing track information, these are just basic features that most decent iTunes organizers should provide as standard.

6 Reasons Why Your Songs Suck

Max Bruch was born in 1838 and died in 1920. He lived through almost the entire Romantic age of music and into the dawn of the Modern era, but he never followed the 'new' music school of Wagner and Liszt. He composed music which can be described as 'classical romantic', somewhat in the style of Felix Mendelssohn.

David Beckham Honored At The 2nd Annual Cartoon Network Hall Of Game Awards

Earlier today we learned that Britney Spears was in attendance at the IOC World Conference On Women And Sport — which is devoted to the advancement of female athletes — and right now we learn that one of our fave male athletes, David Beckham, was in attendance at a different sports award event. Becks and [...]

Our dear Britney Spears was in attendance this weekend at the International Olympic Committee World Conference on Women and Sport and, as you can see, posed for a couple of really cute photos with athletes and former olympians Michelle Kwan (ice skating) and Nadia Comaneci (gymnastics). Now, I have *no idea at all* what Britney was doing at this IOC event but I have to say, she looked fabulous in her white dress and clearly appeared to be having a great time. Check out the photos below and see for yourselves.

The IOC organizes a World Conference on Women and Sport every four years with the objective of analyzing the progress made within the Olympic Movement and identifying ways to improve and increase the participation of women in the world of sport. Approximately 600 participants from more than 130 countries are expected to participate, representing National Olympic Committees, International Federations, Non-Government Organizations (NGO), universities and other organizations. The program will include breakout sessions, cultural events, keynote speakers and forums.

I don’t believe that Britney participated in any of the breakout sessions and/or keynote speeches … my guess is that she was just there to party. As far as I know, Britney hasn’t really ever been much of an olympics fan but I’ll be she’s a big personal fan of these female athletes. In the end, it really doesn’t matter why Britney was there … I’m just glad that she was ;D

Get Quality Sound With the Bosch PB 360 D

For many of the Romantic era composers, the writing of symphonies presented problems, especially with the use of sonata form. The great symphonic composers like Beethoven, Mozart, Haydn and even Bruckner used themes when they used sonata form while the Romantics used melodies. What created the problem was the differences between a theme and a melody.

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar Talk Miscarriage On Today (Video)

In their first public appearance since news that the matriarch of the Duggar family had suffered a miscarriage last December, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar appeared on the Today Show this morning and spoke of their heartbreak. Michelle Duggar and her husband Jim Bob are doing the obligatory press rounds right now, as their reality TV show, “19 Kids and Counting” returns once again for a new season. The show will premiere tonight at 9:00 PM EST on TLC. It was on the Today Show last November that they first announced that Michelle was pregnant with their 20th child. Sadly, a month later, as Michelle and Jim Bob headed to a routine doctor’s visit to also find out the gender of their child, a heartbeat could not be found and they were told that Michelle had miscarried. TLC cameras were on hand at the doctor’s visit and captured the couple coming to terms with what they had just learned. It’s really very sad to watch. Jim Bob told Access Hollywood, “They were there filming us when he thought we were going to find out if we were having a boy or a girl.” With Michelle adding, “It was something that [...]

Adele's Grammy-winning album, 21, has spent its 20th week at the number one spot on the Billboard 200 chart when it sold another 237,000 copies over the past few days since the singer's big Sunday night, officially matching it with Whitney Houston's record-breaking 20 weeks at the top with her soundtrack for The Bodyguard in 1992-1993!

However, our Goddess is expected to officially BREAK that record next week, as the full impact of sales will be counted officially!

Wow. Timing really is everything.

What Does It Take to Be a Fashion Model?

Below is a very rare piece of video indeed, one of only a handful of film recordings of the Hot Club De France (Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli's original swing Jazz band). The song is J'Attendrai (I Will Wait) a popular tune of the day and played in the 'Hot' Jazz style. This is the only example where the audio and video match, so what you're seeing is what they are actually playing.

A Basic Tutorial For Heavy Metal Guitar

The Beat is a basic unit of time in music, it is governed by a variety of different concepts including tempo, meter, rhythm and groove. As music has evolved through out time, so has the meanings of many musical terms. The beat is now often referred to as the Backing Sound or bass that commonly lasts for the whole piece of music. The Beat is a repeated sequence of stressed and unstressed beats which are divided into sections and implemented into music in the correct time.

Exploring Your Talents and Reaching Out For the Skies

Making an artwork investment is a financially delicate business. Methods to reduce the risk include researching the gallery's reputation and paying an expert to research a work's provenance and decide its marketability. Collectors, galleries can all make errors and waste vital funds on work that they assume is investment material. Nevertheless, art investment returns can make high profits and bring more benefits than risks.

Practicing Hip Hop With Rap Beats

Niccolo Paganini composed his Opus 1 Caprices for solo violin between 1802 and 1817. The set of 24 were first published in 1819 and they marked a new era in violin technique. Some of Paganini's innovations in technique were hinted at earlier in the history of the violin while some seem to have originated solely with him.

The development of musical gadgets over the last century has been profound. The world has come from the classic gramophone, to radio, to transistors, to tape recorders, to walkmans, to MP3 players, and finally iPods. Nowadays, a huge number of songs and music ringtones can be saved in iPods and music phones.

How to Find The Perfect Karaoke Player For You

I've never been huge on dance music. Specifically electronic or techno dance music, although you will never see me 'tearin' it up' in 'da club' to the latest pop stylings either. Fifteen years ago I would have said that the reason I dislike the house genre is because it lacked soul. That DJs don't make music, because the real music is already on the record they're spinning, and no amount of mixing or rearranging will qualify the output as a real original creation. Maybe my prejudice against electronica stems from this irrational, yet deep-seated idea that any recording artist whose main instrument is a computer or a record player is somehow cheating.

"The biggest misconception people have about my mother is that she was so unhappy. I think people enjoy thinking that -- some of them, anyway. They see the tragedy as opposed to the fact that she understood how to play tragedy.

I remember somebody at school once said something really mean about her: 'Oh, Judy does too much of this or that, she drinks too much.' And I came home from school crying; my mother asked me what was wrong and I told her. And then she said, 'You know what? You let everybody say what they're gonna say, and we'll go get a hamburger.'
